Hulu Desktop & Amazon on Demand

I know I'm not putting anyone onto anything new with Hulu. But what I think alot of us are missing out on is the wonderfulness that is Hulu desktop. It allows you to use Hulu without going through your browser and I think the design of the site is so much fun. For those of us who are tech savvy (not me) you can hook up your computer to your TV with an HDMI cable and the quality is just like watching it on the channel it airs on. If your computer has a remote you're all set, you never have to get up from the couch. It will make you think twice about paying the cable bill (although I'm not ready to give up the premium channels).

Another thing I discovered is Amazon on Demand. This comes in handy when you are sitting at work on twitter and EVERYONE is still talking about how Nene on Housewives got all up in Kim's grill. Unfortunately that work happy hour last night turned into a 5 hour drinking disaster and you missed it.You go to Bravo.com and of course they don't have all the episodes, just boring clips and no matter where you google you just cannot find last night's episode.

Amazon on Demand to the rescue!

For a small fee, usually less then $2 you can be up on the latest in no time rather then trying to pin down some illegal or shady version of an episode. You must be saying why is this different then itunes? Well its sooo much better than itunes because not only can you download the video to watch anywhere, the video will also stream, meaning you don't have to wait for that sometimes long download that happens with itunes. You can also access your video from any computer by logging onto your Amazon account, there is no need to worry about how many authorizations you have left.

currently the download option is not available on Macs (hmm go figure) but a solution is probably being worked out
